Emily Participated at the London Blockchain Finance Summit

Emily participated in a panel at the London Blockchain Finance Summit.

Emily’s panel was entitled “Is it a bird, is it a plane? Regulating Crypto Markets and What are the Issues?”

Her key thoughts following the FTX crisis were: “The lack of clarity in the regulatory space replaced by regulation through enforcement – particularly evident in the U.S. – has left the crypto industry writ large to determine its’ own path.

The lack of clarity did NOT, however, imply that regulations for financial services were not at all applicable nor required.  Failure to heed the fundamentals of regulatory requirements have produced the current situation in the crypto ecosystem”.
